Miessence began when  Co-Founders Narelle and Colin Chenery and Alf Orpen met in 1999. Narelle was producing her own skin care range at the time when she and her husband Colin met Alf. Something clicked at their first meeting and in literally minutes they had agreed to go into business with the intention to create the worlds first certified organic skin care range.

In 2003 John Hunter, who had considerable experience in the direct selling Industry joined the group. With the support and enthusiasm of many Affiliates around the world (called Representatives at the time) Miessence has grown into what it is today.

Naturally each participant has a more detailed view of how Miessence evolved for and from them. It’s really like a few streams flowing together to form a river, each stream has a different origin and therefore story.
